SUPPORT URBAN DEBATE
The NAUDL can't do it alone. To make debate opportunities available to more and more urban students, the NAUDL needs the support of interested individuals, foundations, and corporations. There are many ways to give, and we welcome your assistance through any of the following means:
Direct Financial Support. The NAUDL funds its work in pursuit of further academic debate opportunities through donations to our organization.
The National Association for Urban Debate Leagues
332 South Michigan Ave., Suite 500
Chicago, IL 60604
Stocks, bonds, real estate, life insurance, art or other assets that carry no unusual liability may be used as a gift.
Planned gifts and bequests, whether or not as part of estate planning, are of course welcome.
ALL FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE NAUDL ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE TO THE FULL EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. YOU WILL PROMPTLY BE PROVIDED THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTATION.
Our National Dinner. On April 5, 2008, the NAUDL will host its first Annual Dinner at the University Club of Chicago. Patrick J. Fitzgerald, Special Counsel and United States Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois, will be the keynote speaker in a rare public appearance. Tables and Sponsorship opportunities are available - from $7,500 on up.
In-Kind
Goods and Services. The NAUDL runs itself like a business. That
means we purchase goods and services on a regular basis - goods and
services that we are pleased to have donated.
Volunteer Activities. Much of what the NAUDL undertakes can and does benefit from volunteer assistance. Opportunities to get involved abound. Please contact us for details and specifics.
Please also direct to the NAUDL individuals, foundations, and corporations potentially interested in any of the above!
For more information, please contact Eric Tucker, the NAUDL's Deputy Director at erictucker@urbandebate.org or (312) 427-0152.
