Jamba Juice Teams with NAUDL to Support Student Debates on Health

This year, the National Association for Urban Debate Leagues (NAUDL) and Jamba Juice joined forces to help support student debates focused on the discussion of health, food, and poverty. Jamba Juice provided $10,000 in student and team scholarships to the top speakers and debate champions at the 2010 Chase Urban Debate National Championship. The championship, hosted by the NAUDL and held in New York, April 23-25, brought together the top 76 high school debaters from Urban Debate Leagues across the nation.

“Jamba Juice is proud to support the National Association for Urban Debate Leagues with $10,000 in student scholarships,” said James D. White, President and CEO of Jamba Juice Company. “The NAUDL is a wonderful organization that provides important learning and debate skills to students. As Jamba Juice celebrates 20 years of feeling good, this is one of those special moments where we get to feel really great about supporting the NAUDL and their efforts to help students improve their academic performance.” Jamba Juice also provided oatmeal made with organic steel cut oats to students participating in NAUDL events.
